JIA-HUI ZHANG

Mrs. Zhang was born into a musical family in Harbin, China. Mrs.Zhang received her Bachelor's Degree from the Central Conservatory of Music under professor Yu Ming Qing and her Master's degree from the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music with a Dean Scholarship. When she was pursuing her Master's degree, she studied with professor Yehuda Hanani who is the most famous international Cellist of his generation. Ms. Zhang has given recitals across the United States. 

 

After she finished her schooling, she moved to Plano in 2014. She was teaching at Collin College. At the same time, she became a certified cello teacher at Allen High school, Plano ISD, and Denton ISD. She has many years of teaching experience and keeps developing cello teaching skills to help her students prepare for the All-Region / All-State competition. She is seeking to bring music passion and high-performance skills to all students. Her students Won Numerous competitions, including 1st Prize winner and 1st Chair of TMTA State Solo competition.  (Orchestra instruments) Dallas Symphonic Solo Competition. Texas Young Artist Solo competition. Numerous strings International competition.
