CELLO INSTRUCTOR

Aminah Ma

Aminah Ma is a dedicated and passionate cello instructor whose teaching philosophy centers on helping students achieve their individual goals while providing a positive and enriching learning experience. Currently a master's student in cello performance at the University of North Texas (UNT), Aminah has distinguished herself through several notable accomplishments.

 

She won second place in the Advanced Cello Category of the San Francisco International Innovative Music Competition, showcasing her exceptional talent and dedication to her craft. Additionally, Aminah earned third prize in the E Category at the Xth International Competition for Young Musicians, CITTÀ di MASSA, which was held online. Her achievements also include being awarded the highly competitive UNT College of Music Competitive Graduate Cello Performance Scholarship, underscoring her commitment to excellence in her studies and performance.

 

Aminah's approach to teaching is rooted in her belief that each student has unique aspirations and potential. She strives to create a supportive and encouraging environment where students can thrive and develop their skills. By tailoring her instruction to meet the individual needs of her students, Aminah ensures that they receive a personalized and fulfilling learning experience. Her goal is to inspire a lifelong love of music and to help each student reach their fullest potential as a musician
