Cao Jiayu, born in 1998, was admitted to the high school attached to Tianjin Conservatory of music in 2012. He studied jazz drums from teacher Li Hongyu. Nine beat young artist, drummer and creator of so you say band, now studying in the Jazz Department of North Texas Conservatory of music.

In 2016, he signed a contract with Sabian, a famous Canadian cymbal brand, and became the spokesperson of China. In 2021, she signed a contract with Queen’s guard, a famous American jazz drum brand, and became a global spokesperson.

In the 9th and 10th National Youth percussion competitions, Cao Jiayu became the double champion of jazz drum group and electric jazz drum group. At the same time, he tied the historical record of this national event and became the second player to compete in a young cross group and win the double champion of the youth group in two consecutive competitions after an Yu, the senior brother of jiupai. He was invited to participate in the Shanghai International Music exhibition, planned and participated in the concert of the modern department of the middle school attached to Tianjin Conservatory of music in 2012, 2013 and 2015, and followed Mr. Li to demonstrate and communicate in the national nine beat division for many times.
