Chengyin (Steven) Lu

Mr. Lu was born into a family of Musician in China. He has established himself as one of the leading musicians of his generation. Mr. Lu received his Bachelor Degree of music performance from Central Conservatory of Music, Master of music Degree from New England Conservatory and Graduate Artist Certificate from the University of North Texas where he studies with Chair of international Double Bass association Jeff Bradetich,  Grammy winner and Professor from both Yale University and NEC. Don Palma. Mr. Lu has won numerous competitions and rewards which including 1st prize and special recognition of National American String Teacher Association held in Kansas City in 2011. 1st prize of International double bass competition held in Beijing China in 2009. 1st prize of UNT concerto competition in 2014. Also received Dean Scholarship from NEC and UNT. He recently performed with the University of North Texas Symphony after winning the concerto competition. Mr. Lu helps numerous students made in All Region and All state auditions.
